Sara Johnstin has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2004. She has worked as a classroom teacher, an Infant Toddler coordinator, Assistant Director and Child Development Center Director. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in secondary education, with a major in history education and a minor in sociology, from Saginaw Valley State University; in addition to that she completed over 30 credits in early childhood education. She also holds an Infant Toddler Specialist Certificate from Erikson Institute, and will complete her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration in December of 2017.
In 2015, Ms. Johnstin joined ELNC to assist in piloting an Infant and Toddler Program. Lessons learned with the program was instrumental in helping ELNC secure federally funded Early Head Start Program where she currently serves as Program Director. Sara, loves to exercise and cook healthy meals.
